Firefighter Peter J. Carroll Jr.

Peter J. Carroll Jr. did his job Sept. 11 at the World Trade Center just as he did every day of his life and throughout his 19-year career as a firefighter in New York City. He is survived by his wife Toni-Ann, two stepchildren, Anthony and Dana, and four children, Nicole, Michael, Peter Jr. and Christopher. His father, Peter Sr., and brother, Kevin, live in Neversink. His sister lives in Bethel. He was 42.
