Those we have lostKenneth J. Marino FDNY Rescue 1 Monroe  Kenneth Marino's love affair with firefighting started in Oceanside, a suburban community on Long Island. He paid his dues as a rookie firefighter and met his wife, Katrina. Marino was dedicated to work, to family and to life. He lived life to the fullest with no regrets. His comrades in Rescue 1 called him "Little Kenny," despite his 6-foot-5-inch frame. He had the heart of a kid and the driving skills of a Formula 1 racer.
