Giordano used his knowledge of science and firefighting to find his way onboard an elite hazardous material squad with the New York City Fire Department. He was a Bob Dylan fan and played a mean guitar. He was father to Jonathan, Jordan and Jessica, and husband to Roxann. He found insight in a simple concept that often one has to take three steps back to take one forward.
