Lt. Glenn C. Perry
FDNY Ladder 25
Blooming Grove

Glenn Perry came from a long line of firefighters. His father, Frank, his father-in-law Bill Riley, and his brother, Frank Jr., all belonged to the New York City Fire Department. Perry first served the public as a police officer in the city before becoming a firefighter. His true love was his family, whose pictures he pasted on a mirror in his locker at the firehouse. His teen-age son, Glenn Jr., donned his father's uniform during a memorial service this month. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; son Glenn Jr.; two daughters, Meaghan and Caitlin; his parents and siblings. Perry was 41.
